Maybe you have this business idea you’re really confident and excited about putting out into the marketplace.
Let me encourage you to slow down…
Instead of doing guesswork, trying to “guess” your way into the market
Validate your way into the market.
If you’re a new entrepreneur, it’s very likely you have a business idea you’re really excited about!
You’re confident that it’s going to work…
You’re ready to put it out into the marketplace…
You want to get it out as fast as possible…
Let me encourage you to slow down.
So many people put something out and then nobody resonates with it.
…Nobody wants it…
Then they go through this process of trying to figure out…
How do I get this thing to sell?
How do I sell this service?
How do I sell this product?
But what they don’t understand is their audience, the person they’re trying to sell to.
So instead of the guesswork, what I encourage you to do is…
“The Process of Validation.”
One of the best ways to validate your idea is to go talk to people.
Go have conversations with people and describe and explain everything you’re about to do and see if it resonates, see if they’re willing to buy.
Specifically, I want to encourage you to go talk to people who are already doing what you want to be doing AND they’re doing it successfully. Ask…
What feedback would you give someone just starting out in this industry?
How would you encourage someone who is just starting out?
What are some of the lessons you’ve learned?
By talking to them, what you’re gonna do is you’re gonna gain so much wisdom experience that they’ve collected.
So, go build relationships with people who are already doing what you want to do.
Now the best way to get the attention of someone already in your field is to give them a testimonial, give them some type of case study, or some type of experience of how you’ve enjoyed what they’ve put out, how you’ve enjoyed their service, or their product.
So if you have a business idea you’re just getting started, don’t do the guesswork. Do the validation process.
