Welcome to 2020! It’s not just the beginning of a new year, it’s the start of a new decade.
And with every new year comes the excitement of a fresh start and the ability to believe for a year of success.
For some of you it may be difficult to even imagine a year of success, maybe because last year was disappointing or frustrating.
Whether your last year was your best year or worst year yet, that is behind you. It’s now time to focus on what’s ahead. Jim Rohn once said,
“You can’t change your destination overnight,
but you can change your direction overnight.”
Take a hold of your future and spend the next few minutes with ShawnQ as he reveals 5 questions to ask yourself that could change everything for you.
Here’s a quick recap of what you just learned:
5 Questions to Ask Yourself:
Question #1: What could I do this year?
Instead of asking yourself, “what should I do this year?” Ask yourself instead, “What could I do this year?” What’s possible for you if over the next 5 or 10 years you committed and went “all in” on your dream?
Question #2: How can I contribute?
Ask yourself, “how can I add value or change the lives of those around me? How can I create meaningful impact in the world.” If you stop focusing on yourself and what you can achieve, and start focusing on the needs of those around you and serve them powerfully, your entire life will shift.
Question #3: Who is challenging you to become your best self?
Accountability is the secret sauce of success! If you look around and realize that right now you don’t have anyone in your life to encourage you with your goals, I want you to know that there is a whole community of people who are waiting to support you inside our Entrepreneur Facebook Community!
Question #4: Who do I want to become?
Who you say you are will determine what you think you are capable of doing. If everyday you visualize your best self and you make the decision to take action towards that person then your behavior will begin to align with that vision.
Question #5: What do I have to do with my life in order to “wow” my great-great-great-grandkids?
Think about this, how can you steward the things you have been given so well that it creates a legacy?
Take time and ask yourself these five questions every day, and you will see some big changes!
